Message from our President

At this time of year, I always feel like summer is almost over, and kids will be back to school before we know it, but let’s not rush things.  Although our board doesn’t hold meetings in July and August, there are still things happening, and I would like to thank the people on the board for the work they do during these hot summer months.  We have still been meeting with our politicians in hopes of getting some funding to expand our Community Centre. Although funding opportunities seem to be at a premium, and it’s difficult for us to get any commitment, our board has not given up, and we will continue to work towards an expansion to improve on the programs we can offer our Community.  There are always opportunities to join our board, and I would encourage everyone in our Community to consider volunteering, and help us continue to build on the club we have.
I hope you’ve been enjoying summer, and all the best to the kids going back to school this fall.
