Every session of our 8 week program will begin with a 20 minute developmental practice followed by a 40 minute game. The schedule will be as follows but please note this is subject to change based on the number of registrants.
- The Under 5 Division (4-5 year old players) and the Under 7 Division (6-7 year old players) will play at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on all 8 Saturdays.
- The Under 9 Division (8-9 year old players) and the Under 11 Division (10-11 year old players) will play at 11:30 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. on all 8 Saturdays
* There will be a 30 minute break in between sessions to allow time for parking space to open up as this was an issue for us last season
We will offer a girl only division within the Under 7 Division. All other divisions are Co-Ed.
Please note that the division your child will fall in will be based on their birth date and not birth year as we do in the indoor season. For example, if a player is 7 turning 8 prior to May 26th then that person will play Under 9 however if that 7 year old turns 8 after May 26th then they will be registered in Under 7. If you prefer your child be placed in a specific division then there is a space on the registration form to request this. View website at http://rdtminisoccer.com/wp/
We are also very proud to offer a new soccer program for both girls and boys between 7 – 12 years old who are looking to further develop their technical skills. This program will also take place at the Whyte Ridge Community Centre on Sunday mornings starting May 27th, running for 8 weeks ending July 15th. The approximate start time for this will be 11:30 a.m. Each session will be run by myself and the RDT Head Coaching staff and will consist of a 70 minute technical skill, fitness and agility training session. Players will be challenged and will surely improve their abilities and confidence as young athletes. Space will be limited for this program.
Youth Soccer (Under 9-Under 18 age groups) registration is under way.

This restriction does not apply to our Mini Soccer program though.
How to register?
Spring was certainly in the air during that January thaw. While it is still officially winter, we are hoping for an early spring so that we can have our outdoor teams out practicing on dry fields before the start of the outdoor soccer season in early May.
Watch for the soccer registration signs and registration emails in your inbox as we will be opening registration late February/early March. We co-ordinate our registration process with the other community centres in our district to ensure that everyone has a chance to play recreational youth soccer. Registration information and the link to registration can be found on the website.
5-7 year old boys and girls (2011-2013)
For the third year Whyte Ridge Community Center will be offering the Jr.NBA Basketball program on our outdoor court during the summer months. The previous 2 years were extremely successful and the program filled up very fast!
Registration is limited to 20 kids. We require 4 volunteer parents to run the program. In exchange for their commitment, we will be offering free entry fee for one child per volunteer. No basketball experience is necessary. A week to week curriculum provides guidance to the volunteer coaches for drills and games to play with the children.
