WRCC Winter Carnival 2019

Even though it was a cold Manitoba day, our Winter Carnival was a huge success.
Over 200 residents of Whyte Ridge and Linden Ridge braved the -35°C day to enjoy sleigh rides, a marshmallow roast as well as a little snow painting and milk jug curling. To warm up, families enjoyed free hot chocolate and both cookies and pizza.

While inside, the little ones enjoyed a play structure and activities provided by MyGym and we even had some owls come to visit from the Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre Inc. Kids also enjoyed getting glitter tattoos, crafts and some coloring.

Congratulations to all of our winters of the Jets Prize Raffle, 50/50 and colouring contests. A big THANK YOU to our many volunteers from the community including those from RBC as well as students from HGI, Grant Park, and the Vincent Massey Key Club. We could not have had such a successful event without these incredibly important volunteers.

We also would like to thank our sponsors (please see below) without whom this event would not be possible. We would like to also thank MP Terry Duguid and Councillor Lukes for their support.

Thank you everyone for your continued support of our great Community!
