Whyte Ridge scouts news

The 163rd Beaver Colony has been busy with youth-led adventures all year round! Ice fishing fun and making ice cream were favourites. Our Beavers love active, hands-on STEM learning like constructing then racing Beaver Buggies and paper airplanes. They have been building confidence while exploring nature through camping (fall, winter and spring time!), canoeing, snowshoeing, hiking and geocaching. Safety is important, so they made their own first-aid kits and learned about how to camp safely. You’re never too young to give back and our Beavers have volunteered with seniors with a game night. They have also been making new friends around the world with an international scout pen pan exchange. A lot of fun, friendship and adventures have been had this year and await us next year!
