YMCA YWCA Youth Entrepreneurship Program

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) exists to help young Canadians pursue entrepreneurship – specifically visible minority youth (women, people living with disabilities, newcomers, Indigenous). YEP mentors and trains youth to improve their entrepreneurial skills and develop their business idea. We also act as a connector between networks and entrepreneurs to improve their access to a successful business venture.

The program is delivered over three weeks from 9 am – 12 pm each day. The first two weeks are spent in a classroom with an experienced mentor where they develop their business idea. The third week is dedicated to networking and connecting with entrepreneur support agencies and small businesses.

We are looking for youth ages 18 – 29 who are interested in developing their entrepreneurial skills and working on their entrepreneurship goals. The program is completely FREE to participate in. More information about the program itself and the application form can be found at www.ywinnipeg.ca/yep . We are now accepting applications for October 7th, November 4th  and January 6th.
