Hello Whyte Ridge,
What a summer! Despite the “craziness” of COVID, the weather was fantastic and I hope everyone took full advantage of it. I also hope everyone is happy and healthy as we continue to navigate through these strange times. The club is open again for rentals, although there are some additional rules/guidelines to follow when renting, but if you’re interested in renting, please email generalmanager@whyteridge.ca
The club is still working on getting the air conditioning installed in the main area of the club as well as new energy efficient lighting throughout and painting of the MPR room. Along with that, Kim was able to get funding to have our entry doors wheelchair accessible so we look forward to getting that one in the near future. A big thank you to Janice Lukes for helping with this as well!
Board meetings will start up again on Monday, September 14th at 7:00 PM at the club and are scheduled to run the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. All community members are welcome to attend or to even send in any questions or concerns you may have to president@whyteridge.ca and we can discuss at the next board meeting. Don’t forget, we are always looking for volunteers to help continue making our club the best it can be.
