PAL (55+) moving to Whyte Ridge!!

Pembina Active Living (55+) has been working with the Whyte Ridge Community Centre Board and Janice Lukes for several months now to plan for our eventual move to WRCC.  PAL (55+) is looking forward to becoming part of the WRCC community and partnering with you to provide the best possible environment for retirees and near-retirees in South Winnipeg.

Pembina Active Living (55+) is a community that welcomes seniors from all cultures, religions, and life experiences to celebrate those differences and what we have in common.

With the WRCC Board we are currently planning some minor renovations to the Centre. These will begin once we have approvals from the City of Winnipeg. Once renovations are complete, and assuming the pandemic rules allow, we will then finally move to our new home.  When we can, we will schedule an Open House to welcome our new neighbours to our seniors group.  Please come meet us!

During the pandemic PAL (55+) has been expanding our online programming, providing exercise classes, presentations and chats, all online.  Assuming pandemic rules allow, offerings will expand during the summer as we bring back our outdoor programs such as bicycling, walking and urban poling.  We continually look to increase expand our programs whether we are under pandemic rules or not.

Check out our website at www.pal55plus.ca to see our scheduled events and to find out more about us. On our website you can apply for membership and register for programs.  We send out a weekly email blast with upcoming PAL (55+) and community events which you can sign up for by emailing info@pal55plus.com.  For general queries, contact the office at office@pal55plus.com or 204-946-0839.

Thanks to Janice Lukes and to the WRCC Board!
