Hello Ridge Community,
I knew this day would come at some point, even though I never really knew when. To be honest, I was sure I would be thrown out before I decided on my own. I have spent almost 4 years as President at WRCC and although it may have had a few trying moments, it was an experience I am glad I participated in and the good outweighed any “bad” that may have come up. I would encourage more of you to get involved. It is now time for me to step down from the board. I wanted to thank everyone that I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. I would try and thank each of you individually, but that would take too long, and I would be afraid to miss someone. I have truly had the privilege of working with some of the nicest, and most dedicated people I have ever met. You are lucky to have these people working for you and your Community Centre. With my position opening, I would really hope that someone from our Community is willing to step up and take over this position. I can assure you that with the team of board members you have, it is a much less daunting task than you may be thinking. I wish continued success to the current board, and I encourage anyone wondering how they can help to get involved with WRCC.
