Whyte Ridge Community Centre (WRCC) and Winnipeg South End United (WSEU) are pleased to announce that registration for the 2021 recreational outdoor soccer season is now open. Families of players wishing to participate in recreational soccer with their local Community Centre are now able to register for the indoor soccer season, which is expected to start late April.
Coaches and Volunteers
Youth soccer cannot function without dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic volunteer coaches to foster a safe, inclusive, positive and fun environment for the children of our communities, and ensure they have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
If you’ve coached before and plan to do so again, thank you! If you haven’t coached before, we encourage you to consider doing so. We have workshops and resources available to help you get started and become a confident and capable coach. To learn more about coaching at your child’s age level (e.g. requirements, commitment, etc.) please reach out to Whyte Ridge Soccer team or the WSEU Office at officemanager@wseu.ca
When you register, please indicate your willingness to serve as a Coach or Assistant Coach with your child’s team.
COVID Return to Participate Guidelines
While the Government of Manitoba has permitted outdoor recreational facilities to re-open with certain restrictions in-place, the Manitoba Soccer Association has not yet given members the “green light” to resume sanctioned soccer activities in our Province. We are nevertheless proceeding with registration as we normally would, so we can be well-prepared if and when we do receive clearance to play. We will keep you up-to-date on the latest developments as they’re announced by the MSA.
