On Dec 5, 2021, WRCC Diversity team in collaboration with Pembina Active Living (55+) successfully organized a Celebration of Cultural Diversity event at Whyteridge Community Centre premises. The event witnessed great participation from multiple communities and was focused on sparking dialogue and cultural engagement in the community.
The event was a great opportunity to experience various cultures that live alongside each other and also provided a platform for casual socializing. There were diverse cultural performances from Chinese Cheongsam to Iranian and Russian Live Music & Dance, along with variety of ethnic food on-site. Shahin, WRCC Diversity Director and Sandra, PAL55+ President hosted the event and very well received by the attendees. Terry Duguid, MP for Winnipeg South and Janice Lukes, Councillor for Waverley West Ward also attended and supported the event.

The event was a grand success and attended by 70+ people including performers.
Sincere Thanks to our sponsors (Councillor Janice Lukes, MP Terry Duguid, Sandeep Singh, Royal LePage Top Producers, Pembina Active Living (55+), Next Stop Café, OPA!
