Our skating rinks are open for the 2025-2026 season!

Outdoor Ice Rinks and Community Centre will be closed if the temperature at the centre is forecasted to reach -27C with windchill. Monday to Friday, the General Manager will make a cancellation decision by noon for that afternoon/evening by checking the projected 5pm forecast (accuweather.com/whyteridge/). Indoor programming will not be affected.
Decisions will be based on the best weather information available and may err on the side of safety for our patrons by cancelling activities before the temperature threshold is reached.
Cancellation information will be posted on social media should cancellations occur.
Rink open hours
WEST RINK IS OPEN
The west ODR is accessible every day, but the center is only open intermittently. You can still use the rink independently.
Monday – Friday: 4:30-9:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00am -8:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00-8:00 pm

December 22: 4:30 pm – 9:00 pm
December 23: 2:30 pm – 9:00 pm
December 24: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
December 25: CLOSED
December 26: 2:30 pm – 9:00 pm
December 27: 10:00 am – 8:00pm
December 28: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
December 29: 2:30 pm – 9:00 pm
December 30: 2:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Family Skating Hours (East Rink)

Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
The east rink will be designated for family skating (NO STICKS or PUCKS) during the Family Skating Hours. We ask that parents please help enforce this rule during family hours.
