Sport and Recreation Summer Camps 2023 (ages 6-12)

The Whyte Ridge Community Centre is excited to offer summer camps for children between the ages of 6 and 12.  Our summer camps focus on activities and themes that are developmentally appropriate and will facilitate learning and lifelong activity. Each week there will be a NEW exciting theme and daily themes including Make Something Mondays, Tasty Tuesdays, Wander Wednesdays, Totally Terrific Thursdays, and Flood Water Fridays. Our Programs aim to provide a fun atmosphere while learning and building meaningful friendships. The camps will offer a variety of activities including sports, games, arts, and crafts, science experiments, and culinary arts.

Camps will run from Monday to Friday, from 9 am-4 pm with before and after care (drop off as early as 8 am, pick up as late as 5 pm).

Costs are $150/week, except for the short week which is $120/week. Early Drop off and Pick up are available for an additional fee.

How to register: 2 steps

1. Complete the registration form to reserve your spot, payment must be made at the time of registration. Select PayPal option to pay by credit card or select invoice and payment can be made by e-transfer to payment@whyteridge.ca. Please include your camper’s name and the week of camp for which you are making payment in the message area.
2. Ensure you have completed the Camper Information Form to complete the waiver and camper information.

To reserve your spot, Payment must be complete and the Camper information form must be completed at the time of registration. 

Whyte Ridge Community Cancellation and Refund Policy

If a program is cancelled a refund or credit to your registration will be provided.

Payment conditions and refund policy: Full balance of fees must be received with the registration form. Cancellations received less than 4 days prior to the start of the camp session will not receive any refund of fees, unless a doctor’s certificate stating medical reasons is presented to the camp. Cancellations received 4 to 6 days prior to the start of the camp session will be refunded 50% of fees. Cancellations received 7 or more days in advance of the camp session will be refunded 90% of fees. Requests for refunds 7 days prior to the start of a program will be subject to a $25 administration fee.  If participants cannot complete a significant portion of the program because they are moving out of Winnipeg or have sustained an injury that will prevent them from completing in the program please submit a request to programming@whyteridge.ca for review. Refunds for other reasons not stated above may be granted at the discretion of WRCC. The portion of a program’s fees deemed to be administration fees, camp registration or attributed to non-returnable equipment, will not be eligible for refund and will be retained by WRCC.
