Essential Pilates with Cherise
Discover the benefits of an Essential Pilates program now offered at Whyte Ridge community center. The programs is designed for beginners and those looking to strengthen their foundation. We will focus on improving posture, flexibility, and core strength through mindful movements and breathwork. You’ll learn the key principles of Pilates, which promote better alignment, balance, and stability while enhancing overall body awareness. Whether you’re new to exercise or looking to build a strong foundation for your fitness journey, our Essential Pilates program will help you develop strength and flexibility at your own pace in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Led by a Stott Pilates instructor with extensive experience in Pilates, group fitness, yoga, and Yogalates, this Essential Pilates program is designed to guide you safely and effectively. With a deep understanding of body mechanics and movement, our instructor will provide personalized attention to help you progress confidently, whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your practice.
Registration packages will be available with and without equipment.
This course will introduce basic line dance steps. Easy choreography, moderate tempos and lots of repetition will get you moving to all kinds of music while learning basic line dance skills and terminology. This class is designed both for new dancers with little or no experience and for experienced dancers who just want to keep things simple and fun. Dances taught will be mostly absolute beginner and easy beginner without a lot of turns, tags & restarts. There may be some higher-level dances taught on occasion to challenge you just a little bit. (classic or popular line dances).

Zumba Gold with Candace
This class is designed for individuals looking for a fun, low-impact way to stay active without fast or intense movements. Zumba Gold combines easy-to-follow dance routines with a variety of music genres, from country and Top 40 hits to Latin rhythms, making it a joyful experience for everyone.
We’ll focus on gentle movements that promote mobility, coordination, and overall well-being. The class will conclude with light strength exercises and stretches, ensuring you leave feeling refreshed, energized, and comfortably stretched out. It’s a great way to stay active, enjoy music, and have fun—no dance experience needed!

Stretch & Relax with Candace
Take a break from your day and treat yourself to Stretch & Relax at Whyte Ridge Community Center! Imagine stretching your body to soothing, relaxing music as you gently move through exercises designed to promote joint mobility, release muscle tension, and bring a deep sense of calm to your mind and nervous system.
We’ll start with a quick moment to center yourself, then flow into full-body stretches using chairs and walls to support your movements. You’ll feel the tension melt away as we guide you through stretches that improve flexibility with ease. To finish, we’ll wrap up with a gentle relaxation session that leaves you refreshed, relaxed, and ready to take on the rest of your day.

Circuit Style Fitness with Ryan
A high-intensity workout format that involves rotating through a series of exercise stations, each targeting different muscle groups or fitness components. It’s designed to keep participants moving quickly from one exercise to the next, with minimal rest in between, providing both strength and cardiovascular conditioning.
Restorative Yoga with Candace
Immerse yourself in deep relaxation and renewal with this gentle, slow-paced class designed to soothe the mind and release physical tension. Guided breathing techniques and meditation are woven throughout the practice to enhance relaxation and bring you into a deeper state of calm. Using supportive props such as chairs, blocks, blankets, and pillows, each pose is held for extended periods, creating a nurturing space for stress relief and restoration. This class is an ideal way to retreat from daily pressures, allowing your body and mind to rest, recover, and rejuvenate.

Gentle Yoga with Monica
In this gentle yoga class, we will be focusing on releasing tension in the body and well as increasing mobility and strength. Props will be used to help us achieve proper alignment in the poses. This class is great for all levels.

The 55 Strength Class with Fifty 5 Fitness
The 55 Strength class consists of functional fitness circuit training designed to build muscular strength.
Clients can expect to take part in multiple strength circuits designed specifically for women 55+. The
class includes a combination of lower and upper body strength exercises, short bursts of non-impact
cardio, core work, mobility exercises and stretching.

The 55 All In One with Fifty 5 Fitness
The 55+ Balance class consists of non-impact cardio, mobility work, lower and upper body strength
training, balance exercises, core exercises, and stretching. Clients can expect a wide variety of
movement that can be modified to accommodate any fitness level. The 55+ Balance class is the building
block for all other Fifty 5 Fitness classes. LEVEL: Beginner to advanced fitness levels.

Let’s Get Moving – Chair Fitness Class with Fifty 5 Fitness
The Let’s Get Moving class is catered to beginners, or for those with limited mobility. The entire class
will be done sitting in a chair or standing beside the chair (using the chair for balance). The Let’s Get
Moving class teaches clients how to exercise safely. Using light dumbbells, bands, tubes and balls, clients
will increase their strength while working on coordination and balance. The instructor will take time to
go over proper form and alignment while teaching functional movements.
