Our annual AGM took place on Monday, April 10. Through a hybrid fashion, we had community members join in person as well as virtually. We
really appreciated everyone who was able to join us as we are required to have a certain number of community members join as at the AGM. Both Hon. Obby Khan, Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage who is also a FortWhyte resident and Janice Lukes, City Councillor of our ward also took part.
As some board members bid us adieu that night, we are grateful for their service to the community and delighted to welcome new members onboard! Huge Thanks to this wonderful team who has been working hard day and night for successfully running our community centre. If you would like to join this wonderful team, make new friends while making the community better and want to share some skills here is your chance! The Whyte Ridge Community Centre Board of Directors is looking for you as we have a few Board positions that might be a good fit.
