On March 17th WRCC volleyball players participated in the 2024 Volley Blast tournament hosted by Volleyball Manitoba. A great time was had by everyone! The tournament marked the end of the Winter Community Youth Volleyball program and showcased the skills and teamwork of our players. For this Winter, Whyte Ridge hosted programs for 12U, 14U girls and boys, and 16U girls and boys.
We extend our gratitude to everyone involved, including players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for their contributions to the success of the program. As always, it’s the special individuals who step up as coaches that make this a fun and healthy activity for the youth in our community.
The Community Youth Volleyball program is a grassroots initiative that focuses on delivering age-appropriate playing and training opportunities for athletes who are not involved in club volleyball.
This Spring, Whyte Ridge will be hosting a 6-week Community Youth Volleyball Program that focuses on further developing sport specific skills at age-appropriate levels. The program is designed for new and returning Community Youth participants. Sessions will be once a week and will be co-ed for the 12U, 14U, and 16U age groups.
Registration for the Spring program is open until April 15th, and interested participants can visit https://whyteridge.ca/
