With Labour Day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start planning your curling season.
The Pembina Men’s 55-Plus Curling League invites you to attend its in-person registration event on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Pembina Curling Club, 1341 Pembina Highway.
The league plays a 40-game season, divided into four 10-game rounds. Members can register for one round, multiple rounds, or the entire season. New teams are formed before each round based on players’ preferred positions and skill levels.
Games are played on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, beginning at 12:30 p.m., with most members curling two games per week.
After the regular season, members can participate in the Last Chance Bonspiel. Twelve teams compete in a six-game event, with points awarded for winning both ends and games. The winning team receives the coveted Last Chance Bonspiel Trophy.
Come meet current members and league representatives to learn more about the 2026–2027 season, which begins on October 2, 2026. Be sure to ask about the league’s popular member Christmas Luncheon and end-of-season Spring Luncheon.
If you’re looking for a little exercise, new friendships, and some friendly competition, we’d love to have you join us!
